Hello, I'm Allen.\n\nToday I'm visiting Bengbu City in Anhui Province, China,\n\nto explore the local morning market and popular food street.\n\nThe food we're seeing now\n\nis called "Mianjinpao Juanbing" (???????), a super popular street food\n\nin Bengbu. This is deep-fried gluten puffs,\n\nwhich are called "Gangzi Youtiao" (????????) in Henan\n\n. After frying the gluten puffs, set them aside.\n\nNext, prepare a pancake, then roll in the gluten puffs and other ingredients.\n\nThe method for making gluten puffs is quite unique:\n\nuse two chopsticks
to lift the dough,\n\nthen drop it into the oil. Add eggs\n\n, bean sprouts, kelp strips, tofu strips, and other side dishes.\n\nIt's really delicious!\n\nThis shop makes sesame flatbread with lamb skewers,\n\nwhich is both satisfying and filling. The lamb skewers are grilled and first... that\n\n's amazing! Stuffing them into the flatbread is sure to be fragrant ?C\n\nthis is the classic way.\n\nNext, they start making the flatbread\n\n, stretching the dough and sprinkling it with sesame seeds before baking it in the oven.\n\nThe oven heat evenly cooks
the flatbread.\n\nThen, they take the flatbread out\n\nand roll the lamb skewers inside.\n\nThis way of eating is very popular in Bengbu.\n\nThe flatbread is crispy, and the aroma of the lamb skewers is simply wonderful.\n\nThis shop also sells potstickers.\n\nBengbu potstickers are one of the representative breakfasts of northern Anhui.\n\nUnlike the potstickers in the south, the potstickers here have pleats... The edges are clear, the skin is thin and elastic, and the filling is visible.\n\nAfter slightly frying, water is added and simmered for a
while\n\n, then some cooking oil is added\n\n. The pancakes are rotated to ensure even heating\n\n. The golden-brown skin paired with the delicious filling\n\nis simply delightful!\n\nThis is the old prefectural committee food street, and there is a pancake stall that is very popular with locals.\n\nThis stall has been around for about 20 years, and they have always insisted on making their pancakes by hand.\n\nThe mixed grain batter is evenly spread on the board.\n\nThe mixed grains are usually a mixture of wheat, sorghum, corn, buckwheat, and other
ingredients.\n\nThen, various seasonings and side dishes are added according to individual tastes. Finally, . Rolling the fruit into a dough ball is delicious.\n\nLet's go to the market. There's a stall selling pork rolls in a steamer cloth. The\n\nmarinated pork is cut into even, large pieces and then rolled in a steamer cloth\n\n.
