China High Speed Rail at 350 km/h Passing a Station Non-Stop

What this video shows

A short clip filmed from a station platform on China's high-speed rail network, where the camera operator watches a train pass through without stopping. The speaker points out a train on the opposite side that appears to be preparing to depart, then draws attention to an approaching service. The passing train crosses the platform area at full line speed and disappears from view within seconds, prompting audible surprise from the person filming. A child named Isla is addressed during the moment. The footage captures only the passing event itself, not a journey or a full day.

What stands out

The headline figure of 350 km/h appears in the video's title rather than in the spoken commentary, so the exact speed of the train shown is not confirmed by anything said on camera. What the clip does convey is the practice of express services running through stations without stopping, which means passengers at that platform are watching trains they cannot board. The reaction of the person filming — repeated exclamations as the train arrives and is gone almost immediately — suggests the pass-through is striking even to someone expecting it. A second train visible on the opposite track, apparently about to leave, shows two separate movements happening at the same platform area at once.
